The North Face: Always Above Us. Leading the life of a climber involves a tremendous amount of sacrifice and hardship, but for team athletes Conrad Anker and Kris Erickson, there's no living without it. In 1999, on an expedition in Tibet, team alpine climbers Conrad Anker and Kris Erickson lost their good friend and exploration companion, Alex Lowe, to an avalanche that narrowly missed Conrad himself. To preserve Alex's honor, Conrad and Kris establish and send the Nutcracker, a new ice climb route in Hyalite Canyon, Montana. Their story, and climb, are captured here by Sherpas Cinema.

10 Years In Patagonia

Duct Tape Then Beer bring us this incredible amalgamation of clips from Mikey Schaefer s ten years of climbing in Patagonia. Woven together from numerous trips and tens of contributors, this video tells the story of Mikey s mission to establish seven first ascents on the seven major peaks of the Fitzroy range and the relationship he developed with the region during that mission. Along the way, Mikey s attitude to the mountains changed from treating them as enemies to be conquered to the more nuanced relationship he now shares with them. He also became a photographer, made more friends than he can count and had some of the most defining experiences of his life. This is his story, brought to you from Patagonia by Patagonia.

Paul Robinson: Red Rockin

After visiting Red Rocks so many times, I cannot believe that there is still so much potential for new boulders to be climbed. Each canyon seems to have a new turn or a new corridor to walk through that lends itself to a new boulder and a new feature that can become a first ascent. Every time I go back to Red Rocks, it never feels stale or like I have done everything. I know that with a little bit more walking and a little bit more exploring there will always be a new line to be done. There is a lifetime of climbing there on some of the best rock in the world.
